KFC COLESLAW COPYCAT

Here’s a recipe for a copycat version of KFC coleslaw:

Ingredients:

– 1 small head of cabbage, finely chopped or shredded
– 2 medium carrots, grated
– 1/2 cup mayonnaise
– 1/4 cup buttermilk
– 2 tablespoons white vinegar
– 2 tablespoons sugar
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine the finely chopped or shredded cabbage and grated carrots.

2. In a separate smaller bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, buttermilk, white vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

3. Pour the dressing mixture over the cabbage and carrots. Toss well to coat the vegetables evenly with the dressing.

4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight if possible. This allows the flavors to meld together and the coleslaw to become more tender.

5. Before serving, give the coleslaw a good stir to redistribute the dressing. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed, adding more salt, pepper, or sugar according to your preference.

6. Serve the KFC copycat coleslaw as a side dish with your favorite fried chicken or any other main course.

Enjoy your homemade KFC-style coleslaw!
