Cheese-Stuffed Buns with Parsley

Ingredients

For the Dough

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Filling

  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the dough by combining water, sugar, yeast, salt, and olive oil. Add flour, knead, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  2. Mix shredded cheese, chopped parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Divide the risen dough into small portions, flatten each into a circle, add the filling, fold, and seal to form buns.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Cool slightly and enjoy!
