Ingredients
For the Dough
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Filling
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare the dough by combining water, sugar, yeast, salt, and olive oil. Add flour, knead, and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Mix shredded cheese, chopped parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Divide the risen dough into small portions, flatten each into a circle, add the filling, fold, and seal to form buns.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
