THE INGREDIENTS LIST:

– 5 medium russet potatoes.

– 2 large spoons.Of olive oil.

– 3 garlic cloves – minced.

– 1/2 Cup.Of grated Parmesan cheese.

– 1 small spoon.Of dried oregano.

– 1 small spoon.Of dried thyme.

– 1/2 small spoon.Of salt (adjust to taste).

– 1/4 small spoon.Of black pepper.

– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish).

PREPARATION:

Step 1

Place a baking sheet in the oven and preheat it to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius). Line the baking sheet with parchment paper or gently oil it.

Step 2

Cut the potatoes into thin strips with a width of around 1/4 inch to mimic the appearance of traditional French fries. You may leave the skin on for a meatier and more flavorful end product.

Step 3

Mix the potato strips, olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper in a large basin. To ensure that the potatoes are uniformly covered with the spices, give the mixture a good toss.

Step 4

Arrange the potato strips that have been seasoned in a single layer on the baking sheet that has been prepared. Make sure they are not overcrowded in the oven since this will prevent them from becoming crisp.

Step 5

Place the baking sheet in the oven that has been prepared and bake for about 25-30 minutes, turning the fries over halfway through the baking time. Keep a close check on them to make sure they don’t become too brown.

Step 6

When the fries have been in the oven for about 20 minutes, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over them evenly. Place the baking sheet back in the oven and keep baking the fries until they have a golden brown color, the cheese has melted and becomes somewhat crunchy, and the cheese has browned slightly.

Step 7

When the fries have reached the amount of crispiness that you choose, take them from the oven and set them aside. To add a splash of color and an added dimension of freshness, sprinkle the top with finely chopped fresh parsley. Serve the Baked Garlic Parmesan Fries right away as an appetizing appetizer or side dish. They will have your mouth watering.
