- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
For Spicy Dip
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine the paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Toss the peeled and deveined shrimp in the spice mixture until coated.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp to the hot skillet and cook for 3 minutes on each side.
- During the last minute of cooking, sprinkle the chopped parsley over the shrimp and gently toss to incorporate the herbs.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set them aside.
- Whisk together the ketchup, Sriracha sauce, lemon juice, honey, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Transfer the red spicy dip to a serving bowl.
- Arrange the cooked spicy shrimp on a serving platter.
- Serve the shrimp alongside the homemade red spicy dip.
- Garnish with lemon wedges for those who want an extra citrus kick.
